About Us

Nano4Newbies was developed with the goal to expose elementary students to fundamental concepts of nanotechnology. A key component of the website is the “Ask a Scientist” section, where students are able to post any questions they have about science at the nanoscale on the website and participating graduate students post replies. Keeping the spirit of continual education in mind, K-12 teachers are also able to post activities and links on nanotechnology for other teachers.
